Las Vegas Circular 9 – A great highly recommended nature’s lover varied trip that focuses on the most beautiful national parks of the west (mainly in Utah and Wyoming) – Zion, Bryce, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Arches, Canyonlands and the Grand Canyon, in addition to Dinosaur National Monument, Flaming Gorge, the Monument Valley, Page/Lake Powell area and the cities of Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
Day 1 – Land in Las Vegas and spend the afternoon in the city

Day 2 – Enjoy the day in Las Vegas

Day 3 – Drive to Zion National Park and visit the park, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Springdale
Day 4 – Enjoy the morning in Zion and drive to Bryce National Park on scenic route 9, 2 hours drive

Day 5 – Visit Bryce National Park, short drive
Lodging location: Bryce
Day 6 – Spend the morning in Bryce and then drive north to Park City, 4.5 hours drive

Day 7 – Drive to Grand Teton National Park and enjoy the afternoon in the southern part of the park, 4.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Jackson
Day 8 – Visit the southern part of Grand Teton National Park and enjoy activities around Jackson, less than 1 hour drive in each direction

Day 9 – Drive north through Grand Teton, towards Yellowstone National Park, after entering the park visit the West Thumb Geyser Basin (on the shores of Lake Yellowstone), and enjoy abundant wildlife in Hayden Valley, 3 hours drive

Day 10 – In the morning enjoy the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone’s wonderful waterfalls and views and then drive west in the park (on the way you may stop at Norris Geyser Basin), 1 hour drive

Day 11 – Visit the Midway and Upper Geyser Basin, 1 hour drive in each direction

Day 12 – Visit the Lower Geyser Basin and drive north to Mammoth Hot Springs and tour the springs, in the afternoon bath in the Boiling River, 2 hours drive

Day 13 – Drive east to the Lamar Valley and tour the valley, in the early afternoon hours drive out of the park through scenic Beartooth Hwy (not suitable for RVs), 4 hours drive

Day 14 – Drive to Cody and visit the town’s wonderful museums, 1 hour drive

Day 15 – Drive south through Wyoming to Flaming Gorge, on the way stop at the small town of Thermopolis (which has hot springs and petroglyphs), 5 hours drive
Lodging location: Flaming Gorge
Day 16 – Go on a short rafting trip in Flaming Gorge and them drive to the Dinosaur National Monument and visit the monument’s Quarry (circled in red in this map), 2 hours drive
Lodging location: Vernal
Day 17 – Drive to Harpers Corner (circled in blue in this map) in Dinosaur National Monument, which has extraordinary scenery, and from there continue to Moab (see link to map here), 5.5 hours drive

Day 18 – Visit Arches National Park, 1 hour drive in each direction

Day 19 – Go on a half day rafting tour on the Colorado River (out of Moab) and then visit Canyonlands National Park (Island in the Sky district), 1 hour drive in each direction

Day 20 – Drive to the Monument Valley spend the day in this magnificent area, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Goulding’s or The View Hotel
Day 21 – Drive to Page, visit the Antelope Canyon (reserve in advance) and hike to the Horseshoe Bend, 2 hours drive

Day 22 – Drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and visit sites along HWY 64 in the east part of the rim, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: South Rim or Tusayan
Day 23 – Visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and drive to Las Vegas, 4 hours drive
(on the way to Las Vegas stop in Hoover Dam and if you have time – drive a portion of Route 66 and stop at Seligman)
