Seattle Circular 6 – A route rich with dense temperate rainforests, high snow-capped mountain peaks and wild ocean shores, along the western part of the state of Washington. The route includes Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks, as well as a visit to the city of Seattle.


Day 1 – Land in Seattle and spend a few hours in the city
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 2 – Enjoy the day in Seattle
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 3 – Drive to Mount Rainier National Park and visit the Sunrise area of the park, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: South Mount Rainier or Paradise or Longmire

Day 4 – Hike and travel in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park
Lodging location: South Mount Rainier or Paradise or Longmire

Day 5 – Enjoy one more day in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park
Lodging location: South Mount Rainier or Paradise or Longmire

Day 6 – Drive to to the Olympic Peninsula, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Kalaloch or Quinault

Day 7 – Visit the Hoh Rainforest of the Olympic National Park, 2 hours drive
Lodging location: Forks or La Push

Day 8 – Travel in the western and the northern part of the Olympic National Park, 1.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Port Angeles or Sol Duc or Lake Crescent

Day 9 – Visit the northern part of the Olympic National Park and Hurricane Ridge, 1 hour drive in each direction
Lodging location: Port Angeles or Sol Duc or Lake Crescent

Day 10 – Drive, plus take a short ferry ride from Bainbridge Island to Seattle and spend the afternoon in the city, 2 hours drive plus 20 minutes ferry ride
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 11 – Enjoy one more day in Seattle
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 12 – Fly Home
