Seattle Circular 14


Seattle Circular 14 – A route rich with dense temperate rainforests, high snow-capped mountain peaks and wild ocean shores, along the western part of the state of Washington. The route includes Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks, as well as a visit to the city of Seattle.


Day 1 – Land in Seattle and spend a few hours in the city
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 2 – Drive, plus take a short ferry ride from Seattle to Bainbridge Island and visit the northern part of the  Olympic National Park and Hurricane Ridge, 3 hours drive plus 20 minutes ferry ride
Lodging location: Port Angeles or Sol Duc or Lake Crescent

Day 3 – Visit the western part of the Olympic National Park and drive to the southern part of the Peninsula, 2 hours drive
Lodging location: Kalaloch or Quinault

Day 4 – Drive  Mount Rainier National Park and travel in the Paradise area of the park, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: South Mount Rainier or Paradise or Longmire

Day 5 – Visit the Sunrise area of the park and drive to Seattle, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Seattle

Day 6 – Fly Home
