Seattle to Salt Lake City 1 – One of the most recommended and most scenic routes in Northwest USA and West Canada. Includes the Canadian Rockies National Parks and in the USA – Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. All the above in addition to the beautiful cities of Seattle and Vancouver.


Day 1 – Land in Seattle and spend a few hours in the city

Day 2 – Enjoy the day in Seattle

Day 3 – Drive to Vancouver and cross the border to Canada, on the way north visit the Boeing factory, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Vancouver

Day 4 – Enjoy a day in Vancouver
Lodging location: Vancouver

Day 5 – Start driving east to the Canadian Rockies, 5 hours drive
Lodging location: Clearwater

Day 6 – Continue driving east and on the way go on a boat tour near the small town of Blue River or visit Mount Robson Provincial Park, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 7 – Visit Jasper National Park, short drive
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 8 – Enjoy a day of activities in Jasper National Park, short drive
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 9 – Drive south along the Icefields Parkway from Jasper National Park to Banff National Park, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 10 – Travel and hike in the Lake Louise region of Banff National Park, short drive
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 11 – Visit Yoho National Park and drive to the town of Banff, 1 hour drive
(Try reserving a spot on the bus to Lake O’hara located in Yoho)

Day 12 – Enjoy a day of activities in the town of Banff and it’s surroundings, short drive
Lodging location: Banff

Day 13 – Drive to Waterton Lakes National Park and visit the park, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Waterton

Day 14 – Travel and hike in Waterton Lakes National Park and cross the border to the USA, 2 hours drive
Lodging location: Saint Mary (or the eastern part of Glacier National Park)

Day 15 – Drive the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park, 1 hour drive in each direction
Lodging location: Saint Mary (or the eastern part of Glacier National Park)

Day 16 – Drive south towards Yellowstone National Park, in the afternoon bath in the Boiling River, 6 hours drive
Lodging location: Gardiner

Day 17 – Visit Mammoth Hot Springs and afterwards drive to the Lamar Valley and to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, 1.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Canyon (or Lake Yellowstone)

Day 18 – Enjoy the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone’s wonderful waterfalls and views and afterwards drive to the Lower Geyser Basin and visit this basin, 2 hours drive
Lodging location: West Yellowstone

Day 19 – Visit the Midway and Upper Geyser Basin, 1 hour drive in each direction
Lodging location: West Yellowstone

Day 20 – Drive south to Grand Teton National Park through West Thumb Geyser Basin (on the shores of Lake Yellowstone), 3.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Jackson

Day 21 – Visit the southern part of Grand Teton National Park and enjoy activities around Jackson, in the afternoon drive south to Salt Lake City, 4.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Salt Lake City

Day 22 – Fly Home
