Vancouver Circular 4 – A scenic, relatively short, route in the beautiful provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, that focuses on the Canadian Rockies National Parks (Jasper, Yoho and Banff) and the city of Vancouver.


Day 1 – Land in Vancouver and spend a few hours in the city
Lodging location: Vancouver

Day 2 – Enjoy the day in Vancouver
Lodging location: Vancouver

Day 3 – Start driving to the Canadian Rockies, 6 hours drive
Lodging location: Revelstoke

Day 4 – Continue driving to the Canadian Rockies and on the way visit Mount Revelstoke National Park or  Glacier National Park of Canada, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Banff

Day 5 – Enjoy a day of activities in the town of Banff and it’s surroundings
Lodging location: Banff

Day 6 – Drive to Lake Louise (directly or through route 1A) and take a short hike in the Lake Louise region, located in Banff National Park, 1 hour drive
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 7 – Travel in the Lake Louise region and in Yoho National Park that is located nearby
(Try reserving a spot on the bus to Lake O’hara located in Yoho)
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 8 – Drive north along the Icefields Parkway through Banff National Park and to Jasper National Park, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 9 – Visit Jasper National Park
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 10 – Enjoy a day of activities in Jasper National Park
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 11 – Start driving west and on the way visit Mount Robson Provincial Park or go on a boat tour near the small town of Blue River, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Clearwater

Day 12 – Continue driving west towards Vancouver, 5 hours drive
Lodging location: Vancouver

Day 13 – Fly Home
