Montreal to Toronto 5


Montreal to Toronto 5 – A nice route in Eastern Canada. This route starts in Montreal and leads to the province of New Brunswick. From there the route continues to the Gaspe Peninsula, a beautiful, pristine region in Eastern Quebec. The route leaves the peninsula via a ferry ride that crosses the delta of the Saint Lawrence River. Then, the route follows the eastern banks of the Saint Lawrence River and visits some beautiful nature areas along it. The last part of this route includes a drive to the cities of Quebec City, Montreal and Ottawa – all the way to Toronto, where this trip ends.


Day 1 – Land in Montreal and visit the city
Lodging location: Montreal

Day 2 – Drive to Grand Falls, 6 hours drive
Lodging location: Grand Falls

Day 3 – Drive to Saint John and visit the city, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Saint John

Day 4 – Drive to Hopewell Rocks (the place with the greatest tides in the world), 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Moncton

Day 5 – Drive to the Gaspe peninsula and on the way visit Kouchibouguac National Park, 6.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Perce

Day 6 – Visit the amazing Gannet colony in Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé National Park and drive north to Gaspe, 1 hour drive
Lodging location: Gaspe

Day 7 – Visit Forillon National Park and drive south along to coast of the Gaspe peninsula, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Matane

Day 8 –  Take the ferry to Baie-Comeau, and afterwards drive south and go whale watching in Tadoussac, 2.5 hours ferry ride plus 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Tadoussac

Day 9 – Drive to Quebec City and tour the city, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Quebec City

Day 10 – Drive to Montreal and tour the city, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Montreal

Day 11 – Drive to Ottawa and tour the city, 2 hours drive
Lodging location: Ottawa

Day 12 – Drive to Toronto, on the way take a tour to the Thousand Islands, 5 hours drive
Lodging location: Toronto

Day 13 – Visit Toronto
Lodging location: Toronto

Day 14 – Fly home
