Nashville to New Orleans to 1 – The location of the cities of New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville relatively to one another creates a triangle shape. This triangle has been dubbed as the Music Triangle, and it treasures most of the development of music in the US, from the singing of black slaves, to country music that led to the development of pop and rock and roll. This trip focuses on heritage, on culture and on historical stories and scenes that may seem as taken from a movie set. In addition to that – this route also includes some nature sites – mainly in the swamps of the state of Louisiana.

This route can be affected by summer hurricanes (which may mainly hit the New Orleans area). The peak of the hurricane season is in September. It is possible to travel in this route during summer months, but it is advised to be up to date regarding the forecast. The most recommended months for taking this trip are March to May, as well as October to November.
