Miami Circular 6 – A short route in Florida that includes a little bit of nature and a lot of amusement. This trip starts and ends in Miami and, in addition to visiting Orlando’s theme parks, includes a visit to the Everglades National Park and a few more state parks along this route.
Please note – During summer months it is very hot and humid along this route. This route can be affected by summer hurricanes. The peak of the hurricane season is in September. It is possible to travel this route during summer months, but it is advised to be up to date regarding the forecast. The most recommended months for taking this trip are April to May, as well as October-November.
Day 1 – Land in Miami and drive to Orlando and on the way, 3.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Orlando
Day 2 – Visit one of Universal’s theme parks
Lodging location: Orlando
Day 3 – Visit one of Disneyworld’s theme parks
Lodging location: Orlando
Day 4 – Drive south to the 10,000 Islands region of Everglades National Park and Take a boat tour (It is possible to add to the drive a visit to Myakka River State Park), 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Everglades City
Day 5 – Drive back to Miami and on the way – visit the park and Shark Valley, 2.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Near Miami’s Airport or Miami Beach
