Calgary to Vancouver 2 – An extremely scenic, classic, route in the beautiful provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, that combines high mountain peaks with the rugged ocean coast. The main focus of this route is the Canadian Rockies National Parks (Jasper, Yoho and Banff) and the Vancouver Island (including Pacific Rim National Park), in addition to the picturesque cities of Victoria and Vancouver.
Day 1 – Land in Calgary, drive to the town of Banff and enjoy a few hours in Banff, 1.5 hours drive

Day 2 – Drive to Lake Louise located in Banff National Park and travel and hike in the Lake Louise region of the park, 1 hour drive

Day 3 – Visit Yoho National Park or enjoy some more time around Lake Louise
(Try reserving a spot on the bus to Lake O’hara located in Yoho)

Day 4 – Drive north along the Icefields Parkway through Banff National Park and to Jasper National Park, 3 hours drive

Day 5 – Visit Jasper National Park

Day 6 – Start driving west and on the way visit Mount Robson Provincial Park or go on a boat tour near the small town of Blue River, 2.5 hours drive

Day 7 – Continue driving west towards the ferry dock to Vancouver Island, 5 hours drive
Lodging location: Horseshoe Bay (near the ferry dock)
Day 8 – Take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo (Departure Bay) and drive to Tofino, 2.5 hours ferry ride plus 3 hours drive

Day 9 – Spend the day around Tofino and in Pacific Rim National Park

Day 10 – Enjoy a morning in Tofino and drive to Victoria, 5 hours drive

Day 11 – Visit Victoria and take the ferry from Swartz Bay (near Victoria) to Vancouver (to Tsawwassen), 1.5 hours ferry ride plus 1 hours drive
