Calgary Circular 8 – A scenic, in-depth route in beautiful provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, that focuses on the high mountain peaks of the Canadian Rockies National Parks (Jasper, Yoho, Banff, Kootenay and Waterton).
Day 1 – Land in Calgary and drive to Banff, 1.5 hours drive

Day 2 – Enjoy a day of activities in the town of Banff and it’s surroundings

Day 3 – Drive north along the Icefields Parkway through Banff National Park and to Jasper National Park, 3.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Jasper
Day 4 – Visit Jasper National Park
Lodging location: Jasper
Day 5 – Drive south on the Icefields Parkway back to Banff National Park, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Lake Louise
Day 6 – Travel and hike in the Lake Louise region of Banff National Park or visit nearby Yoho National Park
(Try reserving a spot on the bus to Lake O’hara located in Yoho)

Day 7 – Drive through Kootenay National Park and enjoy this park, in the evening take a dip in Radium Hot Springs, 1.5 hours drive
(you may spend the morning in the Lake Louise area and start driving to Kootenay around noon)

Day 8 – Drive to Waterton Lakes National Park and visit the park, 4 hours drive

Day 9 – Travel and hike in Waterton Lakes National Park and drive back to Calgary 3 hours drive
