Calgary Circular 6 – A scenic route in the beautiful provinces of British Columbia and Alberta, that focuses on the high mountain peaks of the Canadian Rockies National Parks (Jasper, Yoho and Banff).


Day 1 – Land in Calgary and spend the afternoon in the city
Lodging location: Calgary

Day 2 – Spend the morning in Calgary and drive to Banff, 1.5 hours drive
Lodging location: Banff

Day 3 – Enjoy a day of activities in the town of Banff and it’s surroundings
Lodging location: Banff

Day 4 – Drive to Lake Louise (through route 1A and Johnston Canyon) located in Banff National Park, 1 hour drive
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 5 – Travel and hike in the Lake Louise region of Banff National Park
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 6 – Visit Yoho National Park
(Try reserving a spot on the bus to Lake O’hara located in Yoho)
Lodging location: Lake Louise

Day 7 – Drive north along the Icefields Parkway through Banff National Park and to Jasper National Park, 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 8 – Visit Jasper National Park
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 9 – Enjoy a day of activities in Jasper National Park
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 10 – Visit Mount Robson Provincial Park located near Japser, 1 hours drive in each direction
Lodging location: Jasper

Day 11 – Drive to Edmonton and on the way visit the eastern part of Jasper National Park, 4 hours drive
Lodging location: Edmonton

Day 12 – Spend the day in Edmonton and in the West Edmonton Mall
Lodging location: Edmonton

Day 13 – Drive to Calgary and spend half a day in the city (or visit Drumheller Valley – lots of  dinosaur adventures on the way, 4.5 hours drive), 3 hours drive
Lodging location: Calgary

Day 14 – Fly home
